So you want to be an I.C.E. Guy® Special Agent and prepare to respond to emergencies?

Girls and Boys, YOU can be an I.C.E. Guy® Special Agent.
Anyone can participate and qualify.

To become a Special Agent, complete the free I.C.E. Guy® Special Agent Workbook (downloadable PDF) to learn how to respond to seven common emergency situations and actions:

• What to do when approached by a stranger
• What to do when seeing fire or smelling smoke
• When to call and not to call 911
• What to do when encountering an overflowing toilet, sink or tub
• What to do when someone gets hurt
• How to respond when asked for personal information
• What to do when you become lost

How you will respond is dependent on many variables, so you should work with your parents to figure out the answers.

There are hundreds of website resources that can help provide you with options for handling emergencies.  The following are ones that are directed to help children with understanding their options:

 http://www.kidshealth.org/kid/watch/er/911.html
• http://www.netsmartzkids.org/tunes/index.htm?page=safeside.htm
• http://www.fema.gov/kids/on_safety.htm

More will be added as they are identified.  If you find any that helped you, please .

Once you know how to respond to each situation and an adult confirms that you have good responses, they will sign your workbook and then you can be an I.C.E. Guy Special Agent!

It's that easy. Download the free workbook and get started!
